Has anyone used this utility? I came across it yesterday and read up on it. First impressions are it is excellent!

What are your thoughts?

Hi,
free, lightweight, portable and controlable every step of the way!
its around 2mb for the portable version, what I liked about it was it had utilities as well as the main uninstalling purpose that it claims to do.
Utilities are: windows tools, file shredder, tracks cleaner, supporting firefox, opera, IE and netscape.
I did find however that when it came to registry entries it didn't delete all of them for some programs.
The hunter mode was also not very clear and accessible where it allows you to point at an icon to remove or uninstall a program.
But I would recommend it seriously, does a good job overall.
Added it to my portable collection.
I don't believe that all software can be number one when it comes to cleaning up registry entries.

Isn't it exactly the same as CCleaner?

honestly I've never used CCleaner, but have heard about it.
I think this program is aimed and specialises more at uninstallation of applications. apart from the extras that it provides.

To me, it felt like a deep and thorough uninstaller. Looked for all those sneaky leftovers that programs tend to leave. I used it on my Mom's new laptop to remove some of that lovely bloatware. *smile*
